Assault weapons don't belong on our streets. They don't belong at our malls or churches, on college campuses or in the halls of elementary schools.
We've come together to demand immediate action to ban assault weapons. Action can't wait – we can't stand idly by as another innocent life is lost. This month, Sen. Dianne Feinstein is introducing the Assault Weapons Ban in the Senate, and Rep. Carolyn McCarthy is introducing it in the House.
We will face resistance. The only way to overcome our opposition is by rallying a mass of people in support of an assault weapons ban. It's time to put lives before politics.
